Wabco air suspension compressor kit
- The compressor runs, but the car does not rise for a long time?
- Diagnostics indicates a fault compressor – the temperature rise?
- Official dealer said that need a new compressor?
The problem is that the piston ring compressor is worn out and can not pump the desired pressure (after a long time the compressor turns off the temperature sensor, the pillows do not have time to pump, suspension level sensors report the actual height of the computer, the computer on the basis of data obtained bug fixes in the compressor).
The kit includes:
- new piston ring.
- 2 o’ring gasket.
- 2 screw.

Replacement Procedure:
1. Remove the compressor from the machine.
2. Reveal the compressor and change to a new piston ring.
3. Putting it all back (Do NOT use grease).
After the first start the car, the compressor will pump a long time (to upload in the air), so he can disconnect the temperature sensor (for continuous operation), in this case, you must turn off the ignition to cool the compressor and then turn the ignition on, the compressor will continue work until suspension will not come to a predetermined level.
Practice shows that a common cause of failures in the air suspension is faulty compressor air suspension. Usually a manifestation of problems in the compressor is due to the heavy load that falls on it due to improper operation bellows (bellows loses the ability to maintain the desired pressure of the car during its operation). In consequence of that the compressor has to work constantly pump air and piston ring wear. We recommend replacing the piston ring compressor to implement together with the elimination of the causes of continuous running of compressor (worn bellows).
Features of the compressor significantly increase the burden and adversely affect many components of the device. Thus, for example, regular inclusion promotes rapid wear of parts in the compressor piston. If the items piston become unusable, the compressor can not create the desired pressure. Therefore it is necessary to repair the air suspension compressor, because the required pressure is maintained by the forced operation of the compressor, which thus greatly overheated.
